January 14, 2012 at 20:31 | My 11yr old daughter had c/pox, spots came out boxing day very blistered.
Now my 3yr old son has it but his spots resemble more of a rash & he has no blisters. He is of course very itchy & has all of the same symptoms apart from the blisters. Is this still c/pox?

Suzette Jones Wirral Merseyside January 14, 2012 at 17:42 | My son, Brad is very ill with chickenpox and is covered from head to toe...he even has them on his palms and soles of his feet! They are also in his mouth and down his throat. He is on day 8. He sleeps 20 out of 24 hours a day. He's lost about half a stone in weight (although he's 6ft tall he is a fussy eater and so there's not much of him anyway) The doctor said it would just run it's course and there was no need for him to come out to him.But now he has a secondary infection on his forehead which is about the size of a 10p piece and is several of the blisters clumped together. To cut a long and frustrating story short, I had to go over to the nurse at the practice and get a swab pack. Take a swab of the sore and take it to my local hospital, as theirs had already been collected for that day at 2pm. I hope I have done this properly.Even the assistant at the path lab in the hospital thought it was very bad that I had to do it myself! Today, Brad's blisters have started to dry up and I hope it won't be long before I have my cuddly young son back again. |

Tracy Williamson Congleton Cheshire October 27, 2011 at 14:23 | Rash appeared on Olivia overnight and she was unusually niggly at times yesterday which explains things now as had put down to teething at the time.
Covered in small red spots this morning so went to see our Dr who said 90 per cent sure its chickenpox. Olivia is well in herself and hopefully this will continue, perhaps a little more tired today than usual. No itching as yet but she has had a little eczema flare up and was scratching anyway! |

October 26, 2011 at 08:12 | Firstly i would like to compliment you on your AMAZING product!! 2 of my daughters aged 5 and 6 have had chicken pox this week and my first step was to go and get Virasoothe after reading about it online. My 5 yr old had it put on her pox twice a day and started seeing results afer a day, she has only been ill with pox for about 3-4days and i swear its down to Virasoothe my daughter called it magic cream, it helped her heal and stop itching and was so easy to apply! (without the smell and horrid sticky fingers). My 6yr old did not want the cream so did not push it on her untill she got worse and worse and as i had seen how amazing my 5yr olds recovery was ive insisted she has the cream twice a day from now on, as shes now on about her 5th day of it! TRUELY AMAZING STUFF. |

Alyx Newcastle Staffs October 3, 2011 at 11:26 | F caught it from his classmates, luckily it wasn't too bad and he was back in school 6 days later. His brother (3yrs) came out in it 15 days later, unfortunately we were on holiday in Spain but luckily again it wasn't too bad. |
